Carbon Monoxide

Shocking new data reveals 95% of households didn’t test their carbon monoxide (CO) alarm last year – was yours one of them?

That’s tens of thousands of homes potentially unprotected from a gas that can kill without warning.

Summer doesn’t make you safer. In fact, BBQs, camping stoves, pizza ovens and even holiday rentals without alarms all increase your risk of CO poisoning during warmer months.

If your alarm isn’t tested, it might not save you.

Press the test button once a month

 Check the expiry date

Always pack one if you’re travelling

Symptoms of CO poisoning can be mistaken for food poisoning, hangovers or a cold.

If you're in a vulnerable household, you may be eligible for a free CO alarm through our funded partnerships.
